Heute will ich einmal nicht mit der Challenge beginnen, sondern vorweg mal etwas (anderes) Schönes zeigen: Die nächste Mütze ist schon erkennbar, pünktlich zum Oktober soll Erik einen Kürbis bekommen.
Ich rede schon so lange davon, dass er eine solche Mütze bekommen soll, seit seiner Geburt, glaube ich ;). Ich finde diese Art Mützen einfach zu süß, deshalb muss das einfach sein ;) Letzen Winter und Fühling trug er eine Apfelmütze, die seine Ur-Omi ihm gestickt hatte. Gut, ein paar Reihen fehlen an dieser hier noch und es werden noch eine gekringelte Ranke und ein Kürbisblatt an den Stiel genäht, aber sie ist fast fertig :)
So, zum "Pflichtprogramm" ;):
Tag 3 der 21 day Challenge, so langsam fragt sich der ein oder andere vielleicht, weshalb ich nicht einfach putze, wie jede(r) andere auch... 2 Gründe:
1. ich behalte mit Hilfe dieser "Krücke" den Überblick.
2. Häppchenweise komme ich einfach besser zurecht, besonders, weil ein kompletter Hausputz sehr schlaucht und auch Erik ja noch da ist, so habe ich jeden Tag ein kleines Erfolgserlebnis, nach und nach wird alles schöner und der Mops kommt auch nicht zu kurz :)
Heute gab es eine besonders schnelle Nummer, die aber bitter nötig war: der Plastikdosen- oder auch "Tupper"- Schrank. Kennt Ihr das? Irgendwie scheint darin immer Chaos zu herrschen, keine Ahnung wieso. Aber, keine 5 Minuten und das Chaos war beseitigt:

Zum Schluss gibts heute noch Bilder vom neu eröffneten Imbiss in meinem Garten:
Berlin ist ja für seine Spatzen und deren Dreistigkeit bekannt, die Herrschaften hier wohnen aber sogar bei uns unterm Dach und die Sonnenblumen sind Ergebnisse der überraschend doch vereinzelt übrig gebliebenen Vogelfutter Rationen vom letzten Winter. (Diese spezielle hier ist über 3 Meter hoch und arg umsturzgefährdet!) Sie haben die Sonnenblumen also quasi selbst angebaut. Na dann, guten Hunger!
Today I´m not starting with the ongoing challenge, I´m gonna show you some other (pretty) stuff instead:The next crochet hat is in progress, because Erik should finally get a pumpkin, just in time for October. I was talking so long that I want him waer one, because these hats are sooo cute (he had an apple knitted by his great-granny last winter and spring). I actually wanted to have one even before he was born, so, finally I will accomplish this mission as well :) It will get a crochet twine and pumpkin leaf attached to the stem, so it won´t be confused with an orange ;)
Well, lets talk about the challenge then ;)
It´s day 3 and some of you might ask themselfs, why the frack doesn´t she just clean the normal way? What´s the big deal about this?
Two reasons:
1st: I keep better track of what in my house I allready/recently did by using this help.
2nd: working bit by bit works better for me, because it isn´t that exhausting like a big clean up, plus I have a little success each day and I still have Erik here, who wants to be entertained as well.
Today´s challenge was a quick, but never the less, very necessary one: the Tupper cabinet. Does this somehow sound familiar to you? It´s allways messed up in there, I even don´t know why. But this clean up only took my 5 minutes, and it´s all tidy and shiny again:

At last some pictures from the new takeaway which has opened lately in my backyard:
Berlin is famous for its sparrows and their boldness, this guys here live under our roof and in fact they grew their own food: the sunflowers grew out of left over birdseed, which these guys (surprisingly) missed to pick last winter. The pictured sundflower is app. 3 m (appr. 10 ft) high and extremly in danger to fall down. But they don´t seem to care about that risk. So, bon apétit guys!
