und weiter gehts/ here we go again

Diese Mütze ist scheinbar eine Art Dauerbrenner in meinem DaWanda-Shop. Ich weiß auch nicht weshalb, außer, das sie zugegebenermaßen zuckersüß ist. Immerhin durfte ich sie schon 9 mal anfertigen, natürlich immer dezent anders, mal mit Bündchen, mal größer, mal kleiner... aber immer die Eulen ganz individuell:

This cap actually seems to be some sort of my best seller at my DaWanda-shop. I´m not sure why, only ok it really is sweet like candy. I made it 9 times now, every time with a different owl, some with a little stetch ending, some bigger, some smaller:

Ich plane für die nächste Zeit noch weitere solcher Mützchen, in anderen Farben, aber auch mit Eulen, denn irgendwie werden die anderen schon vorhandenen Modelle nicht so frequentiert. Dabei bekommen doch auch kleine Kerle schnell mal kalte Ohren?! Hier mal die Nesthocker, allesamt im Shop erhältlich:

I´ll make some more hats and caps over the next weeks, different colours then but with owls too. Somehow I cannot find a reason why this model is only asked for in pink? Little guys get cold ears too, I think... Below are some other models waiting for new owners in my shop:

Die violette Eule schleppt Erik auch im echten Leben, was uns immer mal wieder hingerissene Kommentare, meist natürlich von älteren Damen ;), einbringt. Aber er sieht damit auch zu süß aus!

The purple owl hat is one of my favorites. Erik has one version of it and wears it a lot. We get sweet comments and compliments on that quite often, mainly from eldery women ;), But right they are, he just looks way too cute with that hat!


Die nächsten größeren Aktionen stehen ebenfalls schon an. Während ich noch an dem nächsten "Re-Use Your Stuff" Kleid arbeite (diesmal ganz in schwarz ;), liegen hier bereits die angekündigten Mützen und warten auf Eulen. Und heute habe ich dann beschlossen, mich endlich auf einen Kunsthandwerksmarkt zu trauen - als Aussteller! Und weil mir, wie so oft, der Zufall zu Hilfe eilte, kann ich das Ganze recht risikoarm angehen, da ich heute eingeladen wurde, am Stand, den Eriks Kita dort haben wird, auszustellen und hoffentlich auch das ein oder andere zu verkaufen :) Dieser Markt wird  im Mai hier in Berlin stattfinden, Genaueres erfahrt Ihr dann hier :)

More bigger projects are to be next. While I´m still working on the next "Re-Use Your Stuff" dress ( a black one this time) I also have the above-mentioned hats ready and waiting for their owls. And today I finally decided to go and show on a crafts & art fair here in Berlin in May. this will be my 1st. time ever doing something like this. Chance helped me once more, since the booth I´ll share then will be from Eriks kindergarten. They asked me today if I´d like to join them and want to show and hopefully sell some of my work. I´m quite exited and of course, I´ll keep you updated on his :)

Zum Schluss noch ein absolutes Alltagsbild von uns... ja, mittlerweile habe ich alle Schranktüren und Schubladen gesichert, unser gesamtes Haus wirkt dank unzähliger Türgitter an den Treppen  wie ein Hochsicherheitstrackt für Zwerge, aber was tut man nicht alles *seufz*

Let me leave for today with a picture showing a very common situation in our house nowadays ;) Ok, meanwhile we have installed baby safe  locks on all drawers and cabinet doors and our whole home looks more like a high security prison for dwarfs these days, due to all the safety door grates we had to install on the stairs, but, well, you do what you can to keep them safe, don´t you? *sigh*
