A Plaid made of rags, a Wreath & Shop-updates/ Eine Decke aus Lumpen, ein Kranz und Shop-Updates

Meine Näma ist kaputt! Die Spulkapsel ist gebrochen und ich habe keine Ahnung, wie lang der Versand des Eratzteils brauchen wird. Also bin ich erst einmal gezwungen, mich anderwärtig zu beschäftigen - was aber, wie schon oft erwähnt- kein wirkliches Problem ist :).

So entstand heute der diesjährige Weihnachts-Türkranz. Im Gegensatz zum  Kranz des letzten Jahres, der Ton in Ton in Naturfarben gehalten war, hatte ich diesmal Lust, den neuen Kranz rot-weiß und ein klitzekleines Bisschen skandinavisch und unkonventionell zu gestalten. Ich finde, das hat funktioniert.

 

Auch im Shop gibts was neues: die bereits vorgestellte creme-farbene Clutch und diese schicke Notebooktasche:

Die Nämaschine ging übrigens kaputt, als ich gerade endlich die Tagesdecke für das Bett fertig nähen wollte. Da die Oberseite zum Glück wenigstens noch fertig geworden ist, habe ich sie aus purem Trotz schon mal übergeworfen:

 

Sie besteht aus alten und auch ein paar speziell dafür gekauften Fleece- und Leinendecken, die zuerst in Streifen geschnitten und dann aneinander genäht wurden. Daher kommt auch der Name dieser Decke: Rag = Lumpen. Die Rückseite besteht aus grauen Fleeceflicken, schön kuschelig!
Maße insgesamt: 260x260cm, da das Bett 200x220 cm groß ist.
Die beiden Seiten müssen nur noch zusammen genäht werden... sobald die Näma wieder geht!

Zu guter Letzt möchte ich noch anmerken, dass PanPanCrafts jetzt über eine Fanseite auf Facebook verfügt. Klickt einfach hier um dorthin zu gelangen und -das würde mich besonders freuen- Fan zu werden :).

My sewing machine is broken! The bobbin case has a crack and I don´t know, how long shipping the sparepart will take. So I´m forced to do non-sewing crafts, but - as mentioned before- this shouldn´t be any problem. :)

 

I made this years christmas door wreath today. For last years wreath I had choosen ecru and white, but this year I felt more like red, white, a little scandinavien and raffish. I think, it worked out well.

By the way the sewing machine died while I was trying to finish the plaid for our bed. Luckily I could manage to complete the upside and as an act of pure defiance  I threw it on the bed just to have the imagination, it would be finished:

 

It´s made of old and bought fleece- and linnenplaids, which were cuted into stripes first and sewed together afterwards. Thats why I call it the rag plaid. The underside is made out of grey fleece rags - so cozy! The whole plaid is 260x260cm big, huge isn´t it? But it has to be that big, since our bed is 200x260cm big. I just need to sew both plaid sides together, then the plaid finally would be finished... Just need the new bobbin case.
