Man möge die Falten und Augenringe verzeihen-
frisch gebackene Mutter ;)

Jetzt komme ich endlich wieder dazu, auch im Blog zu posten! Unglaublich ;)

Und das ist in den letzten Wochen passiert:

Lang, ich weiß gar nicht mehr, wie gefühlt lang hab ich - haben WIR darauf gewartet, es schien ewig zu dauern - und dann, irgendwie doch so ganz plötzlich, ist es passiert: unser Sohn ist da!

Bereits am 17. Dezember kam er auf die Welt und bestimmt seitdem alles. Wir haben ihn Erik Johan genannt, er hatte ein paar kleinere Startschwierigkeiten, ist nun aber putzmunter, mopsfidel und verfressen ohne Ende.

Meine Hebamme ist zwar der Meinung, dass ich eine recht schnelle und einfache Entbindung hatte, ich selbst finde allerdings (im Augenblick), dass ich das nicht nochmal haben muss. Es stimmt schon, man kann sich daran, wie sich die Schmerzen anfühlten später nicht mehr erinnern - und das ist auch gut so - aber ich weiß noch ganz genau, DASS es furchtbar wehgetan hat und dass ich zwischendurch auch nicht mehr konnte und wollte. Aber letztdenendes zählt das Ergebnis, das jetzt fast 6 Wochen "alt" und mein Ein und Alles ist.

Vielleicht wundert sich der/die ein oder andere, dass ich Bilder online gestellt habe, die ihn nur teilweise zeigen. Ich habe beschlossen, keine Portraits von ihm online zu stellen, solang er nicht selbst sagen kann, ob er das will oder nicht.

Das sind wohl die aufregendsten und wichtigsten Neuigkeiten von mir, lasst mich noch kurz zum Shop kommen: Langsam pendelt sich der Alttag hier wieder ein und ich lerne, mich mit Kind zu organisieren. Eine neue Ladung Schabracke (Bügeleinlage ;) )liegt schon frisch geliefert hier, zusammen mit zwei netten Stöffchen; was bedeutet, dass ich allsbald wieder loslegen werde. 
Männchen schlug vor, die Clutches tatsächlich auch als Windeltasche, bereits von mir gefüllt mit Wickelunterlage, Creme, Windel und und und bei Dawanda anzubieten. Ich denke, meine meine Blog- und Facebookfreunde sollten das beantworten: Würdet Ihr - für Euch selbst, wenn Ihr Eltern werden würdet, oder als Geschenk für Eltern eine solche fertig gefüllte Windeltasche kaufen?

Ich denke, ich kann ab Februar auch wieder Auftragsarbeiten annehmen - immer natürlich unter der Voraussetzung, kurzfristig agieren zu können. Ich denke mir bis dahin mal ein kinderfreundliches Konzept aus und berechne die Gebühren für Extraanfertigungen. Auch dieses Angebot findet Ihr dann bei Dawanda. Auch hier bin ich immer für konstruktieve Vorschläge offen, also her mit Euren Ideen.

Einen weiteren kleinen, aber grundlegenden Schritt in Richtung Selbstständigkeit machen wir morgen, denn dann bekomme ich mein eigenes Konto, auf dem ausschließlich Ein- und Verkäufe des Labels laufen werden. So kann ich, wenn ich dann doch irgendwann mal ein Kleingewerbe habe, eine saubere Trennung sicherstellen. Außerdem kann ich so endlich mal feststellen, ob ich überhaupt was am Nähen verdiene... 

Ab sofort werde ich mich wieder häufiger melden können, bis dahin!

Finally I got some time to update the blog too! Incredible ;)

And here is what happened the last weeks:

For a long time, I still remember how endless it felt, we´ve been waiting for IT, it seemed to take ages - and then, somehow suddenly after all, it happened: our baby boy was born!
He was born on Dec. 17th already and since then, he is the boss ;). We called him Erik Johan, he had some little health issues at the beginning but now he is chipper and hoggish, so everything is fine. 

My midwife said, the delivery was normal, good and fast for a 1st time, but (at this point) I think, I don´t need this a second time. Its true, one forgets how the pain felt after a while - and that´s good this way- but I still know exactly THAT it hurt terribly and that I could´nt stand it several times and thought, this baby will stay inside forever. But at the end only the result counts, which now is nearly 6 weeks "old"and my one and only.

Perhaps some of you wonder, why I choose pictures which only show some "parts" of Erik. Well, I decided not to share identifiable pictures of him untill he can decide for himself, if he wants to or not.

Thats the big news so far, let me share some small updates about the shop as well: Mom and baby get used to each other here, the daily routine slowly returns and I learn how to manage my life as a fulltime mom. A newly ordered stack of fusable fleece together with two new nice fabrics already arrived this week and indicates that I will return to the sewing machine the next days.
Hubby suggested I should offer the clutches, or at least some of them, filled and packed already as diaper bags with changing mats, diapers, cream and so on. Would be a nice present for parents to be, he said. I think my blog- and facebook friends should answer this: would you buy such a diaper bag, if you´d knew some parents or could use one for your own?


I think I also will take special orders again, starting in ferbruary - of course allways with the option to change appointments fast. I will come up with a family-friendly concept and calculated fees til then. You will find this offer at Dawanda. And -again I´m totally open for your ideas and suggestions, so: share them!

Tomorrow we will make another small but nevertheless important step on the way to become self employed some day: I´ll get a 2nd bank account, only dedicaded for the label. It´s a good way and a basic to split costs into private and business and gives me a clue, if I earn at least some money with the sewing.


But first of all: I will return and blog again more often from now on again.
