Woche 33 und es geht voran :) Am Wochenende habe ich für das Bettchen ein Mobile genäht/gebastelt. Nachdem ich auf Dawanda und Etsy etliche wunderbare und supersüße Anregungen bekommen hatte und schon seit Wochen davon rede, hab ich am Samstag endlich einfach mal drauf los skizziert, geschnitten und per Hand genäht. Dieses Mobile ist nicht in Kontakt mit einer Nähmaschine gekommen, sondern wurde zu 100% von Hand genäht:
Die Teile basieren auf Frei-Hand Skizzen, von denen ich hauptsächlich wollte, dass sie einfach und überschaubar, aber auch erkennbar geformt sind. Bei Igel und Eichhörnchen hat das ganz gut geklappt,bei der Eule bin ich nicht ganz sicher, ob man sie als solche erkennen kann, aber ich find sie süß :):
Und so sieht die Baby-Ecke bisher aus. noch ist sie bei weitem nicht fertig, aber so langsam erkennt man ein Schema, denke ich :) Es fehlt noch ein wenig Gemütlichkeit, aber das kommt in den nächsten Tagen dazu. Das Stillkissen liegt übrigens nur zur momentanen Deko im Bettchen, keine Panik!Geplant sind noch ein paar Bilder, ein Utensilo, das am Bettchen befestigt werden kann und ein großes Eulen-Kissen (ja, ich habs mit Eulen momentan, und wer genau hinschaut, findet auch eine alte Bekannte wieder)
(Möbel und Lampen alle von Ikea, Bett, Käferlampe und Sessel 2nd. hand, Babyschaukel ebenfalls 2nd hand) Ich habe vieles mittlerweile gebraucht gekauft, da ich finde, Dinge, die nur so kurz in Gebrauch sind, wie Babysachen und -möbel können noch sehr gut in Schuss sein und müssen keinesfalls weggeworfen werden. Bisher wurde ich noch nicht enttäuscht, alles, was ich gebraucht ergattert habe, war in einem wirklich guten Zustand. Ordendlich säubern genügt eigentlich immer :) Und - am Ende spart man auch noch Geld, dass man in mehr Krims Krams für den Nachwuchs investieren kann.In diesem Sinne, Mone
Week 33 and slowly but bit by bit things improve here :) This weekend I sewed a mobile for baby´s bed. I have seen so many cute and adorable mobiles on DaWanda and Etsy, and evan talked about me wanting to make one myself for weeks, and finally on saturday I started sketching, sewing and glueing. This mobile never had been in contact with a sewing machine, it´s 100% sewn by hand:All parts are based on free-hand sketches, which I wanted to be simple but also easy to recognize. With the sqirrel and hedgehog this worked well, I´m not that sure with the owl, but I think, she is really cute anyway :)
And thats, how the nursery (at least the bed corner) looks like at the moment. It´s not finished at all, but one can see a scheme now, I guess. Some coziness still needs to be added, but this will happen over the next weeks. There are plans to add some pictures, an matching utensilo to attach to the bed and an oversized owl cushion (yes, I know, I´m into the owl stuff totally at the moment; and if you look closer to the pic you might reconize another o(w)ld friend:All furniture and lamps are by Ikea, mostly bought 2nd. hand, because I believe, that usually baby stuff like this and clothes as well only had been used for a really short time and should be used a 2nd time at least before thrown away. I only have made good experiences with 2nd hand baby stuff, a good cleaning was usually all I had to do before using it. And - at the end of the day one even can save some good money, which surely will be spend asap on the next cute or good thing for the offspring ;)Cheers! Mone
